A couple of emoticon (smilie releases). One early (unexpected release) and a slightly late overdue release. The clown emoticons I was supposed to be working on eventually got finished. I think they turn out okay considering I hate green though I have a set of alternative coloured clown emoticons on standby and ready for the completion stage but for now you can preview the clown emoticons (Below) which come in both a black and white matted background set. You can down this image pack at vbimageworks.com

On to my next image pack release (yet another emoticon set) and also an unexpected release. Again, I seem to get distracted alot whilst working on these projects and before I finished up the clown emoticons I swayed away and started on the new smilies titled: "Blushing Emoticons". Personally, I think they look a little like the yim smilies but regardless of the fact you can also download this pack at my forum by clicking here

I think that's enough of talking to myself, I do still hate blogs but I'm really trying to see the benefits of using them. Until next time. :)

Red Nose Emoticons

So my potential next release, clown emoticons didn't happen because I get easily distracted and swayed away from projects I'm doing and decided to finish up on another set of emoticons I was designing at the same time as the clown emoticons.

With this pack, I used the same base colour after many months of using a wide range of different colours for emoticon packs I released. Expect an addon pack to be derived from my newest creations titled Red Nosed Emoticons (how original) and as you guessed they have red noses. ;)

(Below) is a preview of the image pack and you can download this at my forum though at this time there's only a white matted set which I've released with a .png (full transparency) pack possibly being released. Anyway, the preview of my latest pack (shown below) is my first design in months so any kind of critique is always welcome.

Introduction

Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Shelley, I'm 23 years old and currently working as an Illustrator for an image company. Most of the images I'll design will be based around vBulletin and the images I'll be submitting will mainly be images to enhance vBulletin bulletin board. That's not to say that most of my creations can't be used for other bulletin boards or websites though the work I create will cater for vbulletin.

Recently, I've been a little lazy and my personal life has restricted me from being active so hopefully I can work more on my website which is titled vBImageworks.com and submit some fresh content on my forum.

I mainly started this blog to showoff my emoticon (smilie) creations. So without further ado I'll submit some samples which anyone can comment on and/or offer suggestions or even give any kind of critique which you can do by submitting a commenting. As time goes by (and of course permits) there will be all kinds of emoticon creations and maybe some junk thrown in.

For my first submissions I went ahead and started designing some clown themed smilies but of course me being me I easily get distracted and designed something completely different. Still a W.I.P I'll see how these pan out and hopefully release a full set with addon packs following afterwards.

(Below) Are the original clown Images I have been working on though these are changing in appearance all the time and are still a W.I.P.
